Flex team legend

Introduction

The Revolution Foundation appreciates the fact that enthusiastic people sign up to become a legend and show support on our journey making this sector more sustainable. As you can imagine, working on volunteer basis comes with challenges, such as last-minute cancellations or no shows. Regardless of the reason(s) for this outcome, the organization has to come up with a solution.

Our solution is the Flex Team. These volunteers jump in at the shift(s) that require more volunteers. In order to keep an overview, we try to assign a volunteer to a shift immediately after check-in. In some cases, we do need to rotate flex team members during shift, despite our efforts to prevent this from happening. The Revolution Foundation advices all volunteers to read the function profiles of all shifts on the website, before coming to the festival. To be prepared is half the work and sometimes the magic lies in not knowing upfront what shift you are about to do!
