VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

ABOUT

The Revolution Foundation uses her volunteer program to help all (partner) events and organizations reaching their (social) sustainability goals. Event- and business structures adjust to becoming as sustainable as possible, since it’s becoming the norm, and we’d love to see you as a part of the revolution!

Our volunteer program plays a key role in supporting and strengthening sustainable systems as they are implemented at events or within businesses.

It’s all about leaving a positive trace, more sustainable environment, and we don’t speak of volunteers. We speak of legends, as we are contributing to a greater cause together. As a legend, you are fulfilling shifts and will receive a fitting incentive, for example, free entrance after volunteering at a festival, in return at all times.

FOR VOLUNTEERS

What are the perks of becoming a legend besides helping out creating a more sustainable (business) environment? There are a lot! You will get to experience first-hand how business structures are becoming more sustainable. You can orientate multiple fields of work at different organizations or events. You will meet a lot of different people and create a wide network. You will receive a fitting incentive for the work you put in and will get the chance to choose out of a wide variety of shifts.

Besides the opportunity to become a legend, we also provide those that have done that multiple times before to become a supervisor. This comes with the responsibility to help out coordinating the stream of legends, guard the process, and work closely with all other supervisors within the team. Usually, those that work with us as supervisors became our colleagues through internships that arose from that experience.

FOR ORGANIZATIONS

Last four years, Revolution developed a volunteer program with young, motivated students that have an interest in sustainability and our partner organisations/events.

By partnering up with numerous educational institutes, we have developed a platform that connects students to (social) sustainable organizations in the work field. At the Revolution Foundation, we speak of legends, instead of volunteers, and these legends can apply for volunteer work out of intrinsic motivation at one of our partner events and/or at organizations. By doing so, they get to know the sector, obtain practical experience, create impact, and receive a fitting reward.

The societal goal of our Revolution volunteer program is to support ambitious organisations that want to create an impact on a (social) sustainable level. With the help of our legends internal processes can be changed, so shifting towards a circular business model can be realized. Next to supporting organizations to become circular, Revolution values to have a socially sustainable impact on society as well. For this reason, our volunteer program is currently aiming to collaborate with a higher number of relevant social sustainable projects and initiatives.

How can our volunteer program be of service to your organisation?

Our volunteer program can be of service if you’re an organisation that has the ambition to shift towards a circular economy. In case the financial means are not present, our volunteer program can help reduce costs. By doing so, more realistic budgets can be made so your organization can achieve (long term) sustainable goals. When the change of internal processes requires more personnel than with the current business model, our legends can fill these gaps. Finally, our legends will be briefed extensively about the organization to ensure the quality of their volunteer shift.

We strongly believe this is the moment to shift towards a circular business model and are convinced that with our expertise and volunteer program we can be of great assistance. We would like to discuss the possibilities during a first meeting free of obligations.

In order to ensure the quality of our program, we work closely with multiple educational institutes and their students.
